Founding Story

StreetLove was born from the tension of being both Black and Christian in America—where justice and faith often feel at odds. It’s also rooted in the legacy of watching my own family serve others. I grew up witnessing love in action.

The pain is clear: youth in underserved communities are leading from a place of hurt, and the streets are fractured. Instead of leaving them behind, we’re stepping in with hope, action, and love. StreetLove is a call to reconnect, restore, and revolutionize how we show up for our people.

  • We invade and engage urban and underserved communities across the DMV through StreetLove Connect Events and StreetLove Programs, building deep trust and transforming the lives of youth.

  • To connect, empower, and restore youth in need—igniting real hope, healing, and leadership from within the streets.

    • Love – Uncompromising, unconditional, unapologetic.

    • Servanthood – We lead from beneath, not above.

    • Compassion – We seek to understand the pain behind the problem.

    • Brotherskeep – We don’t let each other fall alone.

    • Trust – We keep our word and move with integrity.

    • Understanding – We listen first, act second.

    • Togetherness – We rise and rebuild together.
